Zendaya took home her first Emmy back in September for her portrayal of Rue Bennett in the first season of HBO’s Euphoria.

And the former Disney Channel star is finally returning to the troubled teen character that won her Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

She reunited with co-star Hunter Schafer, as they teased more adolescent drama in the HBO show’s Christmas special, posting the promo images Wednesday to Instagram.

The 24-year-old revealed that the first of two specials is subtitled Part 1: Rue, streaming December 6 on HBO Max.

She posed for one blurry image in her character’s red hoodie, lying back on a bad with her hands behind her head, captioned: ‘This is not season 2.’

Zendaya cheesed it up with Schafer, 20, as they served slumber party vibes in another snapshot with the same caption.

It was revealed last month that HBO ordered two special episodes of the series to bridge the gap until the second season, which has been delayed amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
